«ПРОСВЕЩЕНИЕ. ИНОСТРАННЫЕ ЯЗЫКИ»

В линии учебников «Звездный английский» часто используется задание с инструкцией «Подумай» (Think) после прочтения базового текста раздела. Когда мы охотнее выполним задание, когда нас абстрактно о чем-то просят порассуждать или когда нас просят поделиться собственным мнением по какому-либо вопросу?

Я решила использовать этот же вид задания для активизации употребления, изученной в разделе учебника лексики, грамматических конструкций, привлекая жизненный опыт ученика, опираясь на его эмоциональное восприятие окружающего его мира.

В течении двух недель ребята получали вопрос для размышления как часть домашнего задания. Учащиеся обменивались своими мыслями в начале уроке, это хороший способ развития навыка мышления. Если проводить такую активность регулярно, то учащиеся спокойно и легко выполняют это задание, и даже удивляются если вдруг не задается такой вопрос.

An activity that makes me happy.

I enjoy playing computer games, because there, in another reality, you can become anyone else and do anything what you couldn’t do in reality, for example jump with a parachute or become a racing star.

A dish which I can eat every day.

A dish which I can eat every day is Okroshka. First of all, it’s very easy to cook. Secondly, it’s very tasty. And finally, it is rich in vitamins.

A film (book) that I am going to watch (read).

A film I’m going to watch is Unstoppable. This is an action movie from 2010. Its main actors are Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham. When I watch it, I’ll get more information about it.

Why I like spring?

I like spring because it’s not a very cold season but it isn’t also a too hot one. I also like this season because there are many holidays and it seems to pass faster than other seasons.

My ideal travelling destination. Why?

I’d like to go to New York. There are many places that I want to visit or see such as Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Broadway and the Brooklyn Bridge.

A TV program I often watch. Why? /My favourite TV program. Why?

I don’t watch TV programs, so I haven’t got a favourite one. I usually watch films on STS or on my computer. But every time during New Year holidays I watch a marathon of Harry Potter films on STS. (I don’t know whether I can name it a TV program or no)

The place in my native city which makes me happy. Why?

I like being in our flat. There we always have something to eat, there are our animals, and there I can play with my parents. I haven’t got any places in our city, where I feel so good as at home.

A piece of music that can inspire me/ improve my mood.

My favourite music tracks are “Take on me”, “Lady (Hear Me tonight)” and “Paradise City”. “Take on me” is made by the group “A-ha”, I heard it for the first time 5 years ago, when my parents gave me an mp3 player. “Lady (hear me tonight)” was made by the group “Modjo”, I heard it for the first time in the game GTA 5. And the last track “Paradise City” was made by the group “Guns N’ Rosses”, I heard it for the first time in the very old game Burnout Paradise 3 years ago.

Why reading isn’t popular with teenagers nowadays?

1. Now reading isn’t very popular with teenagers, because there are many easier ways to get information about something. So, no one wants to spend time reading books.
2. Teenagers like to walk in the mall, especially on weekends. One thing they like to watch movies in the cinema. Others spend time in a cafe enjoying a burger and coffee. Girls like to try on new clothes, boys prefer to choose a new computer game. It’s so convenient to do it all in one place.

What place I’d like to show to a new friend in my city.

If my friend from another city wants to visit me, I’ll show him the cafe “Lavrushka”. It’s not a very popular cafe, but it’s very nice! Every dish is very tasty, there is a very friendly atmosphere and very good prices.

What performance would you like to visit and why?

I’d like to visit a release of game named “Atomic Heart”, but it was in January, so I’m (just a little) late.

What job is popular with teenagers nowadays and why?

Now blogging is very popular with teenagers, because it is very easy to make funny faces or dance on camera (yes, I don’t like bloggers). But I think it won’t be so popular in future, because TikTok and Instagram are blocked in Russia.

What holiday activity would you like to try and why?

1. I’d like to try to participate in a bike ride, because I like to ride a bike and I also need to do some sports.
2. I would like to attend a masquerade in Japan. Because it’s very beautiful and interesting. There are very beautiful costumes there. Each participant can think of different, beautiful and amazing costumes for himself. I think it’s very exciting to attend a masquerade.

What pet would you like to have and why?

I’d like to have a budgie! Budgies are very small, funny and beautiful. They are easy to look after, just clean their cell and feed them. I also want to have a hamster, but I think budgies are better.

What is the dearest memory you have ever had? Why?

I think my dearest memory is that one when we got my cat Dymka. It was a usual evening and I with my father came to get my mother home from work. And when we entered the office, my mother came to us with a small kitten and asked me: “Do you want to get her home?”. And 20 minutes later we were at home with my cat Dymka.

 What is your favourite free time activity?

In my free time l like going for a walking with friends or family. We often go for a walk with friends because it’s amazing fun. I also like walking with my family. You may ask why? All because walking is very fun, interesting and also very cool. But that’s not all like doing in my free time. In my free time I like cleaning my room all because I love when my room is in order.

Еще одно задание с привлечением жизненного опыта для развития рефлексивного умения. Это задание может быть выполнено в формате презентации с голосовым файлом или видеоролике. Ребята проявляли свои творческие способности в оформлении своих мыслей, многие выполняя это задание в формате видео использовали свой любимый гаджет (мобильный телефон).
